Meet, Melisa

Hello! I’m Melisa, and I launched my pet delivery business in April 2020, right at the start of the pandemic. Before this new chapter, I was a full-time yoga instructor, photographer, and a Diamond-rated Uber driver. I also hold a Master’s degree in Theater from Catholic University in Washington, DC, and have always been passionate about the arts, from live theater to film and video editing.

What I didn’t expect was how much I would fall in love with traveling the country while getting to know so many beloved pets! What began as a small venture has grown into my full-time career, giving me the incredible opportunity to explore the entire country and meet a wide variety of adorable pups and kitties.

Our Story

🐾 Our Pack

My most cherished travel companion is Sha, the sweet and mellow kitty I inherited when my mother sadly passed from COVID in 2022. Sha is the ultimate “chill cat” — she comes with me on many deliveries but always stays safely separated from the other pets. She rides up front in a USDA-approved carrier and has her own cozy setup at the Airbnbs we stay in along the way. Most of the dogs don’t even realize she’s there! Sha’s calm energy helps make every trip a little more special.

🛣️ Our Travels

Since starting this business, I’ve traveled across the U.S. countless times, experiencing every season and landscape. I have to say, Colorado and Utah hold a special place in my heart — their dramatic, breathtaking beauty never fails to amaze me.

I drive a Honda Odyssey van, equipped with two extra-large Ruffland crates in the cargo area and a backseat hammock for pets who prefer to ride uncrated. I plan for potty breaks every 3–5 hours, and I love stopping at dog parks when possible so the pups can stretch their legs and sniff around. I also keep owners closely connected with video text updates every few hours, plus I share links to the places we’ll stay during the journey.

❤️ Why We Love This Work

For me, this work is more than just transporting pets — it’s about building trust, offering peace of mind, and creating happy, safe journeys for the animals and their families. I understand how much these pets mean to their people, and I’m honored to be part of their story.

Every trip is an adventure, every pet is a unique personality, and every family is a reminder of the deep bond between humans and animals. It’s truly a joy to help reunite pets with their loved ones or help them start their next chapter. I’m here to make sure every mile is handled with care, compassion, and a genuine love for what I do.

Trevor

Excellent service! She was so communicative with us every step of the way. I really felt like she cared about my dog Luna, absolutely recommend you go with her!
